A financial professional with several decades of experience, Afshan Lakha is currently a principal with commercial real estate firm Lakha Investment Company, LLC, in Bellevue, Washington. Previously, she founded and served as operating director of Puget Sound Stations. Inc., in which role she helped open and make profitable various gas stations, car washes, and convenience stores in the Seattle area. After establishing the company with just one store, Afshan Lakha eventually owned and operated over 20 stores. She holds a degree in accounting from El Camino College.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Afshan Lakha supports charitable organizations such as the YMCA and the Gates Foundation, which supports initiatives in education and world health. A patron of the fine arts in her free time, Ms. Lakha enjoys attending the theater in London and New York; she counts Death of a Salesman and the London production of Les Miserables among her favorite productions. Additionally, she is a trustee with the Seattle Art Museum and the Northwest Ballet.
